A short clumping bamboo popular as a semi-evergreen screen as it forms a 10' tall, upright fountain with stems arching outwards. A vigorous grower that thrives in the shade and performs well in the sun. Foliage does not curl as with many other bamboos. In extremely hot locations afternoon shade proves beneficial.
