Perennial
This variety of Armeria has small globes of bright purple flowers held above a tidy clump of green foliage. It is heat tolerant and easy to grow. With consistent deadheading it can continue to bloom from late spring and into the fall for persistent interest. It requires full sun and well drained soils, and fertilizing monthly helps encourage more blooms. Its tidy habit makes it ideal for the front of beds and borders and it could also do well as an accent in containers.
