The male version of the endearing little evergreen shrub known as Japanese Skimmia. Thrives in shade and displays fragrant creamy white flowers in spring and may be slightly more fragrant than the female plants . Leathery green foliage looks attractive through summer, fall and winter.  Male plants are required as pollinators in order for female plants to set fruit. Winter protection needed in colder climates.
