A compact selection of the American native Joe Pye Weed with deep mauve-pink flowers, wine-red stems and dark green foliage. Flowers emerge in mid summer through fall, attracting butterflies and bees continually. This tall, natural-looking perennial  has more of a compact habit than the species allowing usage for both the perennial border and naturalizing. Thrives in wet soil yet tolerant of average soil moisture.
