Perennial
A compact and dense spreading spiderwort with unique golden-yellow iris-like foliage that contrasts well with purplish-blue flowers. Flower buds form in clusters along the stem with each flower opening a few at a time each for one day. Flowers continue to open in this manner from spring into summer and longer with deadheading. When flowering slows, a cutback will initiate a late summer into fall bloom. Lightly fragrant.
