Shrub
A graceful arching shrub drenched with clusters of glossy amethyst-purple fruits in the fall. Fruit display on 'Early Amethyst' begins earlier than the species and are attractive to birds. Although beautyberry are usually grown for the fruit, small lavender-pink flowers in summer and yellow to yellow-purple fall color may provide added interest.
