Athyrium 'Ghost'
Ghost Fern
'Ghost' fern lives up to its name with its showy silvery green fronds that fill out throughout the spring and summer to yield attractive mounds of lacy foliage. It is a striking accent to add to any shade or woodland garden and looks its best in consistently moist soils although it can tolerate some drought once established. It would also be a fantastic element in shady containers or in beds and borders along pathways. The delicate foliage can be cut back in fall or in early spring before the new foliage emerges.
