Acer palmatum var. dissectum 'Viridis'
Cutleaf Japanese Maple
Plant Type: Tree
A graceful mounding, often low-branched form of Japanese Maple noted for its cascading habit and green lacey foliage. This lacey dissected foliage gives way to beautiful fall colors of yellow-gold, oranges and reds. Conversely, small red flowers in spring mature to green samaras in the fall. Although quite adaptable, 'Viridis' benefits from partial shade during hot, dry summers. A beautiful and often sought-after small tree.
