Aster novi-belgii 'Showmakers® Blue Bayou'
New York Aster
Plant Type: Native
This variety of Aster stands out with its dense formation of blue petals that makes its flowers look like small pom-poms. It is compact in form and is a relatively low maintanence plant that is also deer and rabbit resistant. Its showy flowers look great in beds and borders and planted in groupings for a burst of late summer and fall color. It also works well as an element in mixed containers for fall.
