Athyrium niponicum 'Burgundy Lace'
Burgundy Lace Fern
Plant Type: Fern
'Burgundy Lace' features beautiful fronds on burgundy-purple stems that appear to be painted with silver and white. Its silvery tones make it instantly stand out in the shade. It is also a little more compact and would be fantastic as an accent in containers or planted en masse to really emphasize its color. Like most other ferns it requires moist soils, and its lighter foliage can be prone to burning much more easily, so the shadier the location is, the better when it comes to this plant!
