Cerastium tomentosum 'Sliver Carpet'

Plant Type: Perennial

A colorful mat-forming perennial thriving in dry conditions and hosting a spring show of white starry flowers over silvery gray/green foliage. After the flowers, the low-growing foliage still provides a seasonal interest with its frosty appearance.   'Silver Carpet' tend to be more behaved in nature or IOW less aggrassive. Plants are commonly sheared back after bloom to reduce future foliage decline, self-seeding and shape the plants. A great groundcover perennial for the front of the border or trailing over stone walls.
