Tickseed
Plant Type: Native
'Leading Lady Lauren' is a compact variety of Coreopsis with buttery yellow flowers that have ruffled edges. Despite its delicate appearance, it is tolerant of rocky and drier soils and is also mildew resistant. It requires full sun and does best in average to moist well drained soils. Its flowers are attractive to pollinators and also work wonderfully as cut flowers for arrangements. It is great for use in beds and borders, groupings, containers, and pollinator gardens.
