Dianthus x 'Peppermint Star'

A tidy clump-forming hybrid Dianthus selected for its compact dwarf habit, vigorous growth,? and abundant fragrant raspberry-pink blooms with a deep red center. Flowers are long-blooming and held sturdy above the foliage and make an excellent long-lasting small bouquet. Foliage exhibits a blue-green color and serves as an attractive critter resistant groundcover through the season even without the flowers. Typically reblooms later in the summer closer to fall providing a long season of interest. Also known as Dianthus 'Noreen'.
