Gaura lindheimeri 'Siskiyou Pink'
Plant Type: Native
A Texas and Lousiana wildflower that thrives in well-drained sites and offers a summer full of tall airy stems with colorful flowers. Wine-red flower buds open to medium rose pink with contrasting white stamens. Flowers hold out for a strong bloom period and repeat bloom several times through the season. The tall flower stems delicately bend over in unison showcasing the flowers. The contrast of buds, new flowers and old flowers gives a nice effect especially when planted in groupings. Green foliage often will be tinged red.
