Gelsemium sempervirens 'Margarita'
Carolina Yellow Jessamine
Plant Type: Vine
A hardy selection of the ever so sweet smelling jessamine vine of the Carolinas. This easy to manage evergreen to semi-evergreen vine selection exhibits a profusion of larger, more prominent trumpet-shaped yellow flowers than the species. Foliage may turn bronze in the fall and usually holds through winter. Often used to cascade over stone walls, climb fences, posts, or trees and as a groundcover. Although such an appealing vine, all parts of the plant are poisonous.
