Hibiscus
Hibiscus (Tropical/Annual)
Plant Type: Annual
Tropical Hibiscus have large, trumpet shaped flower with prominent showy stamens and add an instant tropical vibe anywhere they are planted! They have blooms in bright yellow, pink, or red that are a hit with hummingbirds. Deadheading the spent blooms will help the plant keep a tidier appearance, although it is not necessary. Watering them at the base is also helpful since the blooms can spoil and get mushy quickly if they are wet for too long. They are great for use in containers as well as garden beds and will continue to bloom until temperatures drop.
