Kerria japonica 'Golden Guinea'
Plant Type: Shrub
A graceful arching deciduous shrub selected for its large yellow spring flowers that are reminiscent of a guinea coin. Seems to be longer blooming than the species, as well. Kerria proves to be a durable plant and one of the few that will flower in full shade. Even without the flowers, distinguishable bright green stems and foliage will brighten up a shady garden.
