Nipponanthemum nipponicum
Plant Type: Perennial
A fall blooming shrubby perennial sporting thick foliage, almost succulent in appearance, and 3" white daisy-like flowers with a greenish-yellow eye. Flowers are held on erect stalks and make an excellent long-lasting cut flower. Prefers drier soils and proves drought tolerant once established. Benefits from partial shade in hot climates. Best as a mid-border perennial as the lower foliage is often lost through the summer. Also known as Chrysanthemum nipponicum and Leucanthemum nipponicum.
