Polystichum polyblepharum
Tassel Fern
Plant Type: Fern
A tidy evergreen fern with tremendous ornamental value. The beautiful dark green glossy foliage emanates from a central rosette in a whorl creating an attractive pattern. Unfurling fronds flip over backwards to dangle similar in appearance to a tassel while coppery colored bristly scales encase the stem. Overall, this fern is extremely attractive, easy to grow and a landscape favorite. Plant high to prevent crown rot.
