Prunus laurocerasus 'Schipkaensis'

A shade-loving broadleaf evergreen with fragrant creamy-white flowers in spring. 'Schipkaensis' is a hardy selection with an upright habit and lustrous, dark green, narrow foliage. Tolerates full sun to full shade but performs best with at least some shade. One of the hardiest of the cherrylaurels, it is an effective selection for our area.
