Salvia 'Rockin'® Fuchsia'

Salvia

Plant Type: Annual

'Rockin' Fuchsia' has bright fuchsia tubular shaped flowers on tall black spires above its dark green foliage. Similar to other Salvias it is a pollinator magnet and will attract bees, butterflies and hummingbirds. It does require a little more water at the beginning of planting to help its roots get established, and then it only requires average watering. It can be drought tolerant once fully established but will still need attention in the heat of summer. A little deadheading will help it keep a tidier appearance and the blooms continue from spring and into the fall. It works well in beds and borders, has a stunning effect in groupings and mass plantings, and is a great choice for pollinator gardens. It also works very well in containers as a "filler/thriller."
