Setcreasea pallida 'Purple Variegated'
Setcreasea
Plant Type: Annual
This variety of Setcreasea is similar to 'Purple Heart' but its leaves are highlighted by beautiful streaks of pink, light purple, and ivory. It is a fast grower with a trailing habit that makes it perfect for hanging baskets or as a "spiller" in containers. When the weather is warmer, it also produces small bright purple flowers with golden stamens at its tips. It can also tolerate drought and due to its succulent stems does not require much regular watering, making it very low maintanence. It also responds very well to being cut back which only causes it grow even fuller! Its cut stems with the flowers also look great as decoration in little vases.
