Thalictrum rochebrunianum
Meadow Rue
Plant Type: Perennial
A showy long-blooming perennial with a low base of dainty blue-green foliage reminiscent of the maidenhair fern. In summer, purple flower stalks extend high above the foliage holding airy masses of lavender and yellow blooms. Stalks are quite sturdy and blooms should not need staking as with other species. Plants put on quite a show in groupings and in mass. Ideal as a low maintenance high impact addition to wildflower gardens and back of the perennial border. Deer resistant.
