Verbena 'Homestead Purple'
Verbena
Plant Type: Annual
'Homestead Purple' has clusters of rich purple blooms above its dark green foliage. It is a tough plant that is heat tolerant and a vigorous grower even in dry, rocky, sandy soils. It does best in full sun and does require well-drained soil in order to keep its roots from rotting. It is a great candidate for beds and borders, groupings, and mass plantings. It also would have a charming effect as a groundcover along stony paths and walkways.
